Hi! I am so frustrated today. I must have taken 200 photos of my card. It is raining and dark. I ended up with a too bright photo so you could see some of the dimension. It truly is much prettier in real life. I did this for today`s Way To Use It challenge to cut it out. I cut out my primroses and popped them up on a nestie square that had been sponged. I added a bit of distress stickles and tiny gems for the center of the flowers. This is also for CCEE1003 Sketch Challenge hosted by Cindy Haffner this month. I really like this one!! Of course, I love her work so all her sketches have been great.
I am off to fix dinner...whole grain spaghetti. My sauce is full of good sausage, herbs, and tomatoes so hopefully we won`t notice the difference. I will let you know! Talk later!!

  6. The picture - and card - look great to me. Way to go cutting that image out - it looks fantastic. I am so glad that the days are already a bit longer - and mostly brighter by the time I finish my card.
Wholegrain pasta - my mother tried, but we never liked it. Just drown it in sauce. Is couscous something you shouldn't eat? We have a lot of that - sometimes with a spicy lamb tagine, and sometimes with stir-fried veg and a spicy sauce. I make a big batch of tagine so that it will do us for four dinners - two for that week, two for the freezer.

  7. Gorgeous card! Love the detail in your cut out flower and that lush ribbon. We had spaghetti for dinner last night with sausage and herbs...nirvana..don't like the whole wheat pasta but the blend is pretty good!
