Innovative Stamp Creations

Ever find yourself in awe of butterflies? Take Flight is mesmerizing and was designed to give your card or project a 3D effect! We were encouraged by Betsy to use the wooden-frame from the ISC Fruitful sheet or create our own on the design below.

I did a recessed window frame card from the directions at SCS. I used Copic Markers to color and cut out some butterflies twice and popped them up and added pearls to their bodies. The enjoy sentiment is included with this set.
Please be sure to check out the other Creative Architect`s Blogs for some fabulous work using these new Innovative Stamp Creation stamps!

This card was also done for this week`s Queen for a Day! And this week it is Kittie747!! Yes the so very talented Kittie who has her own stamp line through Rubbernecker stamps! I do believe I could spend days in her gallery....such eye candy!! You are most deserving Kittie so wear that crown proudly and congrats to you! And I so hope you have a wonderful birthday!
This is Kittie`s Card I loosely based mine on since they both had the frame thing going on. I can`t come close to your talent Kittie but it sure was fun going through your cards. Hugs to you!

ISC - June Release Day 3:

Wonders of Nature, are there times when find yourself in need of a manly card? This line truly is perfect for that occasion! The image is simply breathtaking and ideal for those who enjoy coloring with Copic markers or watercolor pens! I used Copics today, matted, and distressed and roughed up my cs and added some hemp twine. I think the card is gender friendly and would be great for either.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you like it and that you have a fabulous Saturday! Stop back by tomorrow when we will have one more set for you!

Please be sure and visit the other Creative Architect`s Blogs to see their fabulous creations!

I also entered this in today`s Inspiration Challenge brought to us by Stephanie. Read about it here.
We went to an online site called The Bicycle Muse and this bag is what inspired me to add this card. I had made this card for today`s ISC release but don`t you love when it works for more than one thing? To me the bag and the image both say summer and many people ride bikes down to the water (there must be a trail! ;-0) And inside the bag is good things to eat and she will have a picnic! Thanks for looking and have a fabulous day!!

Innovative Stamp Creations

What are your Favorite Flowers? Daisies, Poppy or Sunflowers? This line has a lovely Spanish script, which would add a lovely accent as a background on any card, etc. The flowers on this sheet; Favorite Flowers are bold and simply lovely! The words are quite large. This line lends itself for lovely cards for that special person or friend in your life! Find this new stamp sheet at Innovative Stamp Creations

I stamped the Spanish Script and flower trio then sponged my Distress Ink Colors on.I stamped, cut and colored them again and popped them up. Over stamped the sentiment and added some thread and gold pearls for the centers of the flowers.

Innovative Stamp Creations

Are you ready? Do you love realistic nature images? Well, the next 4 days will surely jump start your creative juices! The Creative Architects were challenged to create unique card folds with these new lines! Enjoy… I opted for an altered art piece for my 1st project as they are so popular right now.

This is a typical shadowbox frame you can pick up at most any craft store. I had this one in my stash just begging to be altered! I stamped Spanish Script from Favorite Flowers (which you will be seeing tomorrow) on Basic Grey dp and distressed the edges. The 2 flowers are also in that set and the butterflies are from Beautiful Flowers II and Beautiful Flowers III I used dp again and used the Script stamp again as my bg and then embossed my Butterflies from Set II and III. Everything is popped up on dimensionals. My circle sentiment is from Beautiful Flowers II and says you make me laugh Added some dew drops and a bit of glitter.
.

This card measure 8.5 " by 4 ". I went with a more Clean and Simple look to this card for those of you who enjoy this style. I took a panel of white cs and added smudges of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and Dried Marigold Distress Inks. I crumpled it up and added a bit more. I then spritzed with water. I let it completely dry and then distressed the edges and ironed it. I used the gorgeous butterflies from Beautiful Butterflies II and III and stamped them with Memento Ink and added a black rhinestone to their body. I then used Diamond Glaze and added Ultra Fine Prisma Glitter so IRL this card is very sparkly. The sentiment stamp is included in this set along with one which says you`ve been in my thoughts. It also includes a larger butterfly. Added a white panel on the inside and added a corner punch.
I hope you like my use of these fabulous sets which you will be able to find at Innovative Stamp Creations
Here are 2 sites that you could make cards from.

Double Challenge and Sneak Peek Mark`s Finest Papers 6/19

Hi! This is a double challenge card. I did another one for today`s Inspiration Challenge which can be found here.

IC237 Challenge

This is the piece I got my inspiration from.
Etsy Piece
The 2nd challenge is Speedy the Cat`s Friends Challenge 8. Claudine has challenged us to emboss on our card. Read about it here and join in the fun!
Speedy the Cat`s Friends Challenge
This beautiful Camellia and Sweet sentiment is a sneak peek from a set by Mark`s Finest Papers called Apples and Camellia which will be released in July. You can use this stamp in so many ways! I embossed with Harvest EP from Embossing Arts, colored with Copic Markers, and cut out with a circle nestabilitie. Used the next larger die for a mat and popped up on my card base. My opposite corners are pierced using an Ornare Piercing Template from the back side. I added graduated pearls in one corner. The inside has a punched border from MS as does my envelope. Thanks for looking and have a fabulous Saturday!
Hi Sis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Inspiration Challenge 6/19 CAS

Hi! This card is for today`s Inspiration Challenge brought to us by Steph. She sent us to LoveArtClay Works Originals an Etsy shop where Artist Krisitin Love makes clay art.Read about it here.
IC237

I love these challenges because it is so interesting to see what has inspired others and their take on the challenge. To me her shop items were very clean and simple so I followed suit with my card. This is the piece that inspired me.
Inspiration Piece
I used a Lockhart Stamp Co. stamp for my main image and the saying is from a set from Mark`s Finest Papers called Tropical Vacation. I left the chair uncolored as she did and just colored in the vase of flowers and a bit of grass. Inside the card some blue flowers were doodled in and the envelope carried through with the sentiment and just says wish. Added a bit of ribbon and was done! Think these would make a lovely set of notecards with different sayings on them. Thanks for looking and have a fabulous Saturday!

Double Challenge Card 6/8 Teaparty and Midnight Madness

Hi! This is a double challenge card. 1st challenge is for Teapot Tuesday. This week our hostess with the mostess is Bonnie! We needed to bring pretties for Darla the Dragonfly and her daughter. There are 42,000 reasons we need to do this so everyone needs to join in the fun!! Fabulous teapot, storyline, and card today Bonnie! Thank you! Read about it here.
MMTPT97

The 2nd challenge is the Midnight Madness Sketch brought to us by the oh so talented Priscilla! Read about it here.
MMSC57
My image is from Penny Black and was watercolored and matted. I chose this image because the bears are ever so sweet and they have brought us all honey and even brought along their bees and beehive! My bottom layer is SU DP and I ran it and the envelope through the Swiss Dots EB Folder. I added three tiny gems on the right corner and in the spaces left from my MS Corner Punch. Now it has been told to me that these gems are worth 500.00 apiece! YIKES! They are very much appreciated Miss Peggy!! Wink,Wink! I then used doilies I picked up at Walmart in the candymaking section. I then used a doodlebug trim on the middle and added a tiny gingham bow to the left corner. The inside has the SU DP and I punched the opposite side from the outside. This was so much fun to make! My gd Ariel helped me choose today and this was approved by her! LOL Thanks for looking! Comments always appreciated!

Variation on a Theme 6/7

Hi! This is another card needed for sending condolences and it fits for both CAS70 and TLC276. This is a slight variation on a theme. I used the same EB folder as my last card ( embossed on the inside and envelope as well) but changed the orientation and changed it from white to a blush pink and added blush pearls to the centers of the flowers. I used the same PTI Set ~ With Sympathy but changed my sentiment which reads~ May you find peace and love in the memories you cherish. After reading Peggy`s moving write up on her card to Pat which is here
Peggy`s Card

and I saw and read Pat`s card here
Pat`s Card
I knew I had to send her a card to celebrate Alice Irene`s (her grandmother) life. Both cards and write ups moved me to tears. Pat your card is amazing and perfect!! And Peggy yours is made with such love. I hope mine brings a bit of comfort and I have to so agree with you both that she is now indeed walking with Jesus. God Bless and Hugs!
Hi Sis!!!!!!!!!!!!

Double Challenge Card 6/7 Sympathy for Deena (PTI)

Hi! This is a double challenge card. It is for today`s CAS challenge ~ Quotes, Verses, Sayings. Read about it here.
CAS70 Challenge

My saying is from PTI`s With sympathy set and says ~ Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in love and prayer. It is also for today`s Technique Challenge ~Getting Personal.Read about it here.
TLC276
I made this for Deena who lost her dear mother-in-law. I am so sorry for your loss! May you keep her spirit alive through your wonderful memories. We were to also use a favorite technique. I have many but decided on Embossing as it is a one layer card decorated inside and out and on the envelope and mails easily. The only embellishment I added was tiny gems (thanks again Peggy!) to the flower centers. Thanks for looking and have a fabulous day!
Hi Sis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Double Challenge Card 6/4

Hi! This is a double challenge card. It is first for today`s Free 4 All brought to us by Jeanne ~ It`s a boy thing!Read about it here.
F4A15 Challenge

The 2nd challenge is Queen for the Day! WAHOO! It is connieJo9 ~This week`s challenge is being sponsored by priscillastyles!! How cool is that? Anne has the link in her post here.
Anne`s Post and Card
Now this girl has so many aliases I am not even going to try to name them all! I kind of like Russian Spy though. Anyhoo...we were to pick a card of hers to case that we might have a story to share. Well after much thought about which card to pick I landed on this one.
Connie`s Card
I have always loved this image. Somewhere in my childhood I have seen a car like this in our family. So it brought back wonderful memories of the men in my life...first and foremost my dad who was taken from me when I was only 21. Not a day goes by that I do not think of him. So you see fathers are very precious to me. When shopping or just doing errands ,walking in the park, whatever...whenever I see a dad with his children I think to myself...I hope they know what they have is golden. This also represents my dh as a father...who I love more every day. So Connie Jo! Congrats to you my dear friend! You brought back some wonderful memories today...they are what keeps me going. And no one deserves the crown more...you are not only talented but one of the sweetest gals on SCS. So wear it proudly! I may have to do another card....as you probably don`t want this masculine one!! But I just had to choose it today. Hugs! Judi
I used PTI CS and the blue layers are Textured CS from Wal Mart! I sanded them. My main image was colored with Copics and cut out with a Rectangle Nestie. I sponged while still in the die. Then I used Distress Ink to shab it up a bit.It was then popped up. I added the jute with the key and lock charms. The inside and envelope were run through the SU Sizzix EB Folder. I only did like 1/3 of it. For a tip...when doing this so the paper doesn`t slip on you...I use double sided temporary tape.It holds perfectly and comes off great!
Sorry for such a long post. For those who read it all...I applaud, thank, and appreciate you!!
I am now dealing with a flooded cabinet under my bathroom sink...it even got in my drawers! And of course...my dh has been away on a business trip. LOL But he is on his way home. YAY! What a thing to come home to!!
Have a great day everyone!!
Blog candy soon!!

Ways to Use It Challenge 6/3

Hi! This is the card I did for today`s Way to Use It challenge brought to us by Julia. Today she wanted us to portray ~ There`s no place like home. Read about it here.
WT273 Challenge

So I decided to go with this Welcome Door stamp from Penny Black. I colored with Copics, matted in Bazzill Black, and popped it up. My sentiment is computer generated and says ~ " A house is built with boards and beams, A home is built with love and dreams. " Author ~ Unknown I kept the card without embellishments because we live a simple life. I also chose this doorway as it has roses which is our signature with the last name of Rose. I stamped the inside and envelope with another Penny Black stamp. Thanks for peeking and have a fabulous evening! And hug someone you love today!

Memorial Day Weekend

Good Morning Peeps! Hope everyone had a fabulous Memorial Day weekend and got to spend it with loved ones and had some time to reflect on why we celebrate this holiday in this great country of ours. We so appreciate all who have served and are serving to protect us.

We went to the new Nascar Hall of Fame and it is a really cool and interesting place even if you don`t follow the racing circut. Ate too much good food and really had a wonderful time. Love you Kristine and Andrew!
Imagine my surprise when I checked the new Midnight Madness Challenge which can be found here at Priscilla`s Blog and discovered I was one of last week`s Remarkable Award Winners!! YAHOO! So I get to display it proudly on my blog!!
Off to do this week`s Midnight Madness Sketch and perhaps combine it with todays color challenge. Have a great day everyone!
