A White Christmas Indeed!

Hi All! I am hoping everyone had a fabulous Christmas with loved ones. This picture is of our son and our two fur kids frolicking in the snow which was just the beginning of things to come. We ended up with 8.5" officially although I think it was a bit more where we live. So needless to say the kids got to spend an extra day with us. They will be leaving tomorrow and I will be a mother hen and worry until I get the phone call that they arrived home safely. With temperatures dipping into the teens and 60 mile an hour winds tomorrow it will be a cold day going out with the dogs! Although they seem to relish it. The dog on the left is our 13 soon to be 14 year old lab and we are so thankful for each day we have with her. She still plays like a pup...notice her legs in the air flying around in the snow!
Hope you have a wonderful week and I hope to be back soon with some new work. Smiles, Judi

I`m Back! Double Challenge Card!! 12/21/10

Hi Peeps! Sorry it has taken me so long to post!! Just a busy time of the year. I felt like doing a card today as I love red, black, and white and we were to paint so I was in my element. The first is the Color Challenge CC302 . I also did this card for krischir aka Kris as she is having wrist surgery tomorrow. This is for Teaparty Tuesday MMTPT125 . Hope you like it!
So is everyone ready for the BIG day? We have a couple more things to do and we will soon be done! The kids will be here tomorrow and I can`t wait! Love a noisy house. The weather looks like it will cooperate and we may get snow flurries on Christmas day!
I just want to let all of you know I am hoping each and everyone has a blessed Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year. I have some new things up my sleeve for the coming year that I hope you will enjoy.
Love you all!! Judi

Hi! This is for today`s Inspiration Challenge where Steph has sent us to a great online store called Shabby Apple .  This is the dress I was inspired by.Needed to take a break from Christmas cards! Such a busy time of the year and I have not been feeling well so went with a quick CAS card. All supplies are from PTI other than the Dotted Black CS from Bazzill and the Corner Chomper. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Double Challenge Card and Rambling Thoughts! :-)

Hi! This is for today`s Inspiration Challenge and Stephanie has sent us to Bronner's Christmas Wonderland. I based my card on these darling Charming Tail Figures found here .This is also for QFTD37 ~ CaKath aka Kathy! I love her work and cased this darling Pure Innocence card .I know I am late Kathy but congratulations! Your gallery is awesome and you are a dear friend! Hugs to you!
So I went to my cardiologist on Thursday and found out the results of my echocardiogram. It was not very good news so I would appreciate you keeping me in your prayers. I will be seeing a specialist at Baptist Hospital just to discuss some options but I am not too keen on surgery. Time will tell. It just makes me realize how very important it is to live each day to its fullest. So remember to say those things that are in your heart to those you love.
Have you decorated yet? I am going with a much more natural theme this year trying to just incorporate some of natures bounty. And it is funny but I read the most heartfelt post on Zen Habits on buying Christmas presents which sums up my feelings totally on the subject! May not be a popular stand but one I so agree with. Read his post if you get a chance. I love this blog which is created and written by Leo Babauta.
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! They are calling for a chance of snow flurries here...I would so enjoy it! Hugs until next time! Judi
