Innovative Stamp Creations! Release Day 4! Vintage Artist Box! 9/26

Sun 9/26

Release Day 4

What inspires you?

Ever wonder why it is you stamp? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments section! For doing so, your name may be chosen and you might win a FREE Vintage Artist box sheet, compliments of ISC! A winner will be chosen on Fri 10/1 and will be posted on the ISC blog. Now back to what inspires you?! What motivates you when you stamp? Who inspires you? What are your fave images to create with?
Remember to let me know your thoughts in the comments section!

Think of the Vintage Artist Box line as your Art-Mural! Once your piece is finished you can showcase it somewhere in your Studio or Art area! Consider the following themes when working on your Art Mural: butterflies, eclectic, faces of women, travel, flowers, vintage and many more.
This project turned out to be so much fun! I again used Tim Holtz Grungeboard. I stamped the Artist Box stamp and sandwiched dp in between using another solid layer of grungeboard on the back. I cut out random sections with a craft knife and the board cuts like butter! There are so many possibilities using this set!! Give it a try! Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Innovative Stamp Creations! Release Day 3! Nesting! 9/25

Sat 9/25

Release Day 3

This line is simply exquisite, these images are ideal for those special occasions such as a new neighbor, a friend who is moving, to a new baby and how about a friend in need! Nowadays many of the stamps on this line are quite trendy and versatile, that you are able to create a very simple card to even an altered art item!
I did a CAS card pairing the Est.2010 and Welcome stamp with the eggs. How cute is that? The card is also scored but hard to see in the photo. Inside is Basic Grey DP.
On this fun tag I used the birdhouse, nest, sunflower, and butterfly stamp using Tim Holtz Grungeboard and cutting my pieces out. I colored with markers and prismacolor pencils. I hope you like it! Thanks for looking and have a great day! Please be sure to check out the links below to be inspired!

Innovative Stamp Creations 9/24 Release Day 2 ~ Let it Flourish!

Fri 9/24

Release Day 2

Let It Flourish!

Background Series: Flourish

Do you enjoy background stamps? Don’t they add such depth to your card? What’s unique about the variety of background series by ISC is that many come with a few sayings! The background Flourish sheet has a lovely Tag/Label that is ideal for that final touch on your project!

I chose to use this fun stamp on its own rather than as a background. Just sponged some wild and happy colors on using Distress Inks.Stamped the word smile on my tag, pinned it on with a Tim Holtz safety pin, and added a flower and a strip of ruffled ribbon as a bottom border. Used cs on the inside and punched one corner with a MS Corner Punch and stamped the flourish on my envelope. Hope you like it!

Innovative Stamp Creations! Release Day 1! Edges 9/23

Thurs 9/23

Release Day 1

A touch of Dimension!

Dimensional Elements: Edges

The images on this line are truly unique they will accent your card or altered notebook and so much more! Think of these stamps as a diecut or punch! You can create a quick card to more elaborate creations! GO with the flow and have fun! Some of the images on this line: scallop, distressed paper, vintage script, triangle, zig-zag edge and a small label.

I used Distress Inks on this easy card using all the elements in this stamp set except the scallop border. Difficult to see in the pic but used twine for my dream banner ~ These are so popular right now!

My second card uses the script background stamp overstamped with the hollyhocks stamp from Innovative Stamp Creation `s  last release. I added a bit of bling using Diamond Glaze and Glass Shards and added some vintage lace trim.
Please be sure to check out the other Creative Architect`s projects to get you inspired!

CAS Challenge Card 9/20

Hi! This is the card I did for today`s CAS challenge ~ To use fall colors including Kraft, Cream Red, and Brown with Orange as optional. My watercolored leaf is primarily red with a tinge of orange to one side. I kept this minimal not only because it was CAS but because it is for my dear dh who has put up with me these past weeks. He has pitched in on so many things so I could spend time in the craft room. This is a thank you card and a way to let him know he still means the world to me. :-) I hope you like it and thanks for taking the time to peek at it!

4 Challenge Card! 9/16

Hi! This card I did today is for 4 challenges! First it is for today`s Way to Use It challenge brought to us by Julia. Today is Ransom Style .The second challenge is the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #71 . The third is Flutter By Wednesday #122 . We were to use buttons. I used several and also used one on my butterfly. :-) The fourth and certainly not least is a wonderful idea Cathy came up with to name Anne Ryan Queen for A Day since she was gone on an unexpected trip to Florida for family.
QFTDAR You remain in my thoughts and prayers dear friend. Have a safe trip back! This card is not a case of any particular card of hers but rather a card in honor of her. The card says Live and Anne certainly does!! Love you lady!! Thanks for looking and have a fabulous day!
Cardstock is Kraft PTI. All other supplies are from Frost It Pink.

REVEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a DIRTY GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9/15

Hi All! Sorry for squealing but I just can`t help myself! This is the BIG news I had to keep quiet for way too long! Now that was difficult. I am overwhelmed, thankful, and so excited!! I hope you like the projects we have for you this month. I think the gallery is totally awesome! Please be sure to check them out in the Fan Club Gallery. And if you are not a member what a great time to join!! I still can`t believe I was chosen. And I got to get down and dirty in the dirt pile with Chupa who everyone knows and loves. I am appreciative of being among so many talented stampers.

I have to thank all of you who take the time to visit and leave comments. That is what keeps me going. Some of you may or may not know that when my mom died 2.5 years ago I turned to Splitcoast. And the daily challenges were just what I needed! Making cards for others rather than feeling sorry for myself. I admit it is still difficult and I still have some bad days. But you all have helped me sooo much. I appreciate you more than you know.
Hugs Always, Judi
Hi Sis!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to acknowledge you. Don`t know what I would do without you. And we just know...mom is smiling down from heaven at us both. Love ya!!!!!!!!!

CAS Challenge! 9/13

Hi! This is the card I did for today`s CAS challenge. We were to be inspired by this fabulous balloon wreath! CAS84 Challenge

I thought this Penny Black image of Mimi & Her Balloons would be appropriate. And besides...she`s just too cute! I colored her with Prismacolor Pencils and Goo Gone! Thanks for looking and have a great day!

9/9 THURSDAY Stinky Situation

Ok..so today I wanted my card to be all about these gorgeous Birch Trees. I thought this would be a great masculine card but I think it is gender friendly. I embossed using Detailed Black Embossing Powder, matted with black and tore the bottom edge, and popped the panel up. Did a bit of piercing and added black Candy Dots. Used my new favorite DP from Basic Grey inside and on the envelope. Hope you like it!

9/ 8 WEDNESDAY BROOM RIDES

What I love about this fun stamp set is that no matter what your style is they just work! This is a fun set and would be fabulous to be used with children, grandchildren, or even classes! I kept my cards CAS and the treat bag is simply a 12" length of cardstock scored and folded at intervals with an opening cut out. The sides are open because you use cellophane bags for your treats! Easy peasy! I hope you enjoyed my projects today and will participate by commenting for the chance at winning a stamp set!!

9/7 TUESDAY: AUTUMN FUN

My first card ( Leaves) is very CAS. I used 3 different colors of Distress Inks to stamp the leaves on the outside, inside and envelope. I then flicked paint lightly to soften it up.
My second card (Nuts About You) is done on Kraft and cut out and framed with a circle nestie and popped up. Stamped the acorns in corners and on envelope. I added the gingham ribbon with an attached leaf charm.
The third card (Beautiful Autumn Season) was stamped and colored with copic Markers and matted with a torn frame. I did some piercing and added tiny gems.
Isn`t this set just so versatile? Perfect for Autumn cards of any kind. Check out these new stamps and several new products just in at Mark`s Finest Papers . Thanks for looking and have a great day!

I Am Here!!

So this is where I have been this holiday weekend! While it felt strange to not go into the craft room for a couple of days it felt good to spend time with family. This is our youngest son Andrew and his wife Kristine. They live on the North Carolina coast and we are happy to report Hurricane Earl did no damage in their area.
We ate out, watched movies, talked, (and talked some more! LOL) and shopped! I hope you had a fabulous time and did something fun. My spirit seems to be renewed. Andrew does that for me. :-)
So now...I am excited to say Mark`s Finest Papers is having a blog hop starting tomorrow and going on for four days! So please check back...I have mine set to go live at midnight. And there are chances at winning prizes! What could be better?
And I will soon have 25,000 hits on my blog! I never expected that so when that number is reached there will be blog candy!! So be watching!!
Hugs, Judi

Hi! This is for today`s Way to Use It challenge brought to us by Julia. The challenge is one. We were to use one peice of cs only ~ no dp! Read about it here. WT286 Challenge

This was easy as I love Clean and Simple and I think the designs from this sneak peek set called Broom Rides from Mark`s Finest Papers  lends itself so beautifully to these type cards. This would be the perfect set to make Halloween cards with your children or even as a school project! Thanks for looking and have a fabulous day!
