BLOG CANDY!!!!!!!! LOOK!! 40.00 GC!!
Hi All!! Seems like I may be back online so what better way to celebrate than with some blog candy! This is going to be a bit different. First in order to enter I do ask that you be a follower of my blog. :-) Then all you have to do is leave me a comment on this post and let me know what the title and author was of the last book you read. That is it! If you want to link my blog candy to your blog I would be honored but it is not required. And on October 31 by midnight there will be a random drawing. Ok...so you want to know what you are playing for? A 40.00 Gift Certificate to Amazon.com! Sound like fun? You may enter more than once but will have had to read and shared another book. Reading is such an integral part of our family. My only problem is finding enough hours in a day but I have come to realize some things are worth making the time for. So lets get started and pass the word on to others!! The gift certificate logo will stay to the top right and you can click on it to get to this post. Good luck everyone!!

ReplyDeleteHi, Judi!! As you know, I'm already a follower :) The last book I read? "Kenny & the Dragon" by Tony DiTerlizzi--this is a book we read aloud together as a family (with my 11YO DD and 7YO DS). I'll be back again soon when we finish our current read-aloud book!
ReplyDeleteHi Judi!!!! What great blog candy!!!!! Love that I'll get a reading list too by reading all the comments :) I tend to read more than one book at a time...so the last 2 books I read were The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (amazing) and Where Men Win Glory by Jon Krakauer. I am currently reading another book and will try to get through it so I can enter again!!!! Welcome back and thanks so much for the chance to win!!!!!

Hi Judi, great candy, thanks for the opportunity to enter! I love Amazon! I'm already a follower of your lovely blog and I have just finished reading 'Wideacre' by Philippa Gregory. Oh wow, what a great giveaway! The last book I read was non-fiction - it's called "Chemical Free Kids" by Dr Sarah Lantz. It was very interesting but also a bit disturbing, and quite heavy reading. I'm currently reading something a bit lighter and in a new genre for me, so hopefully I'll finish it in time to pop back and share it with you :)
ReplyDeleteI am now a follower. I love reading! I just finished Evenig Class by Maeve Binchy. She is a great story teller. I love all her stuff.
ReplyDeleteJudi, you know how much I enjoy getting lost into novels. I just love those "page-turners" the most. I have read a book called Lost & found, by Jacqueline Sheehan. It's about a widow that decides to move to a place where nobody knows her and struggles with her grieving, and finds more than love on the way to it.
ReplyDeleteIt was quite interesting to read the "internal dialogue" she has about the whole thing. If you love stories with dogs, there is one cool one in there too.
Thank you Judi, for this fun idea and different kind of Candy! Hugsxo
I looooooooooove you!
I am a follower (could be a song title) and love the projects you do-talented lady.
ReplyDeleteDawn's Prelude by Traci Peterson (Song of Alaska series, historical)

Lots of mystery and intrigue in this book. Warning: There is some pretty graphic violence in this book. It is very interesting, and a real page turner. It's the second book I've read/am reading on my Kindle.
ReplyDeleteHey - this is fun reading ideas for books! I picked out a couple that sound good! The last book I finished? Well, I have started 4 (!) and I gave up - too much graphic violence (blak) - so I guess its my fav author Nora Roberts - Bed of Roses. Easy enjoyment. Thanks for this fun candy offer...

ReplyDeleteHi Judy...thanks for the chance to win your blog candy. The last book I read was "Dewey" by Vicki Myron. Dewey was the library cat that won the hearts of everyone. I bought the book during the time my brother-in-law was in the hospital and my plan was to give it to him. At the time, he was extremely ill and in a coma but he loved cats so much I knew he would love this book. I started to read it while I was waiting in the family waiting room with my husband; then suddenly he was gone. I couldn't bring myself to pick the book up again until recently and I finally finished it.
ReplyDeleteHi, Judy! I'm your follower for some time (but read via rss, so not comment much).
