Ways to Use It Challenge 5/27
Hi! Just had to do another card for today`s Way to Use It challenge...to use paint. I stamped this Penny Black image with Memento Black and watercolored. Matted it in black and popped it up. The only embellishment I used was inside and on the envelope. Anne Ryan gifted me with these great doodads. :-) Thanks for looking and have a wonderful evening!

When I saw the challenge was to use paint, I thought of you, Judi, and knew this would be one you'd star in! And you did! This image is great and your watercoloring is awesome!
ReplyDeleteWell, I do love this image and if you feel you can add it to the other one, feel free. I love your style and Anne's swirls. Grace and elegance, plus delicate and dainty make for a wild card lady! Did I tell you I know this sweet and talented stamper, she watercolours alot on her cards. She goes by the name of Judi...well, if you ever meet her you will just love to talk with her on the phone.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to meet her, just look in the mirror okay. (Yes, I know, I'm a complete and utter NUT)
Hugs, Peggy
Judi, your coloring is amazing! I think you are the "Queen" of watercoloring! Love this image! Just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Popping it up was a great idea.
ReplyDeleteHi Judi
ReplyDeletePlease could you give me the names of the penny black stamps used on this card and the one above? They are just gorgeous, and when I tried to look them up on the Penny Black site, I can't find them... way too many images :o)
Many thanks
Helen
I like those old-fashioned feeling PB garden stamps, they don't need much other than your beautiful painting to make a great card. I like the bird cage in this one - brings back fond memories of my little canary.
ReplyDeleteHelen ~ This one is called Backyard Harmomy and the other is Garden Nesting. However these are not current stamps. I was fortunate enough to win a huge lot of these PB stamps on ebay. I have discovered a new source for older PB stamps and the website is

Thank you so much Judi for getting back to me so quickly :o) You are a STAR. I will have to try and hunt them down now, that will keep me busy for a while, thanks for the website address!
ReplyDeleteI have always said crafters are the best folk out there, it is just like a huge big family :o)
Kind regards
