Double Challenge Monday! 7/26
Hi! This is a double challenge card. First it is a tribute card to our wonderful Featured Stamper this week who is Ravengirl aka Toni! I was already familiar with her fabulous CAS card gallery. Congrats Toni! Your work is amazing! Read about it here.

I did not choose one card but rather did a card being inspired by her lovely gallery. I know...the challenge police will be after me!
Check out her gallery here.

Today`s CAS challenge was to be inspired by One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish brought to us by Denise. Read about it here.

We have this book and many others of Dr.Seuss. I am going to send this card to our 26 yr old son who had his tonsils out. I know he will love it...he has a pair of pajamas with this printed on it!! LOL And my computer generated sentiment comes from the angry caught fish who says One Red Fish Too Many!! And Andrew...we know it wasn`t you who got the Big Catch!! My main image is cut out with a circle nestie. I colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. Then I covered with Versamark and used Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel. Doing it only once it spreads out and has a waterlike effect. Hard to capture in the photo. I popped it up. Ran part of the envelope and the bottom edge inside of the card with a bubbles EB folder. Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!

Super cute!! Love the sentiment!
ReplyDeleteHi Judi. Your painting or in this case coloring is excellent as always. I love the embossing with it. I'm still laughing. That's one mean looking fish. Hope your son gets along ok after his surgery.
ReplyDeleteAAAaaaaaaaaaaahhh Judi, this card is sooo cool! Very funny - love it!

This is the card that brought me to your blog. I love it and hadn't known before now that one layer of UTEE creates that surface...good to know!! The expression on the red fish is good, but the poor little guy's expression is even better! I'm enjoying how you finish off the insides of your cards and your envelopes. TFS
