This is a card I did today for five challenges! First I have to congratulate Karen aka RedBugDriver for she is our new Queen For A Day!! She has a gallery filled with beautiful cards to get your mojo going!! Not only is she talented but she is one of the sweetest gals on here always leaving us such heartfelt comments. We love you Karen! So I finally settled on this card to be inspired by. Enjoy your much deserved reign gf! The second challenge is Friday`s F4A53 to be inspired by the islands. I thought these flowers looked a bit tropical. The third challenge is today`s IC273 to be inspired by this gorgeous online site called Serena and Lily. I chose the Ruby Collection which was for the nursery. The card is also for this week`s Stamp Something challenge to use flowers. I also included this in the Day`s of Our Lives gallery. I just love this paper from Graphic 45 and the new toys I used from PTI. :-) Thanks for looking and have a fantastic weekend. Our Carolina blue skies are here and it could not be any prettier!! Hope it is nice where you are!
So what are you reading? Would love to know! Peggy and I just read The Widower`s Tale by Julia Glass and enjoyed it so much we are now backing up and reading her previous novel called Three Junes.
I am also anxious to delve into a book I recently got called Inner Excavation by Liz Lamoreux. I belong to her blog and find her fascinating! Her book says Explore Your Self Through Photography, Poetry and Mixed Media. Her book is available through her website.
Another interesting book is Water Paper Paint by Heather Smith Jones. Exploring creativity with watercolor and mixed media. I highly recommend them both! Also available on Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble.
Have a fun filled and creative weekend!

I just finishe Peace Like a River by Leif Enger and I loved it! Next on my table is Pillars of the Earth. It's a monster book and not usually my style. We'll see....
ReplyDeleteLove that paper and the card.
Gorgeous paper and love the way you layered it! It was a beautiful day here in VA as well...so welcome after a couple of really blustery days! I seem to stamp in my spare time rather than read, but I have started Jodi Picoult's book "My Sister's Keeper" which is a good read.
