New Blog and Almost Christmas!

So as I sit here thinking of what to say in my first post I have a sense of excitement. So many new things to come in this New Year. With this new blog I hope to share my artwork, photographs, and sometimes just general chit chat on life and what may go on in the Rose household.
I can hardly believe Christmas Eve is tomorrow! Our son, Andrew and his wife, Kristine should be here by tomorrow around dinner time. And I cannot wait! We have such a good time when they come home for a visit. We trade off each year for Thanksgiving and Christmas because we have to share them with Kristine`s family. And while I will miss my mom to the point of feeling like I cannot breathe I will go on and have a happy holiday.I know she is in a better place.Jason, our other son cannot make it this year but has promised us a visit soon in the coming New Year. And so it goes. I hope to take some pictures I can share with all of you during our time together. I hope all of you get to spend time with family and those you love.Maybe tomorrow I will have time to sneak in a challenge card between cleaning up and getting anxious until the kids arrive.Think the bed is calling my name but maybe I will first check the challenges at Splitcoast to see if it has been posted early. Night all!

  1. Congratulations, Judi, on the creation of your new blog!!

You know that I have long been a fan of your wonderful work and have so enjoyed playing the challenges with you at SCS!

I look forward to learning about your life and being inspired by the work you choose to share here!!

Merry Christmas! May your holidays be filled with love and laughter and sweet memories of your mom!

  2. You're off to a great start with your blog! Enjoy your Christmas celebrations and I look forward to reading more from you :D

  3. Congrats Judi for making the decision to start a blog. Your talent is phenomenal so I'm delighted to know you'll be sharing that and tidbits of the Rose family! I had a "Molly" too. She was the greatest of all dogs for sure. We're huge dog lovers too, Judi, so I'll look forward to seeing and hearing about your family members - and that includes your children, too.

Happy New Year's Judi. We're going to have to meet in Greensboro in the new year!

    Hugs, Anne
