Hi all! Decided to post a bit early today. I did this card for the Ways To Use it challenge which was to use time as a theme. I have always loved this quote. I picked out one of my fancier fonts and printed it out on vellum. Speaking of fonts does anyone else have a zillion? I do! It is rather annoying having to scroll through so many trying to pick one out.
Used Magenta embellishments as I decided to try and use up things I had bought way back when. I also did an altered card which was just a bit silly but I did it nevertheless. You can see it in my gallery at SCS by clicking on the badge to the right.
I may post late just to wish everyone a Happy New Year!! No big plans in this household. DH will more than likely pick up something nice for dinner. I would rather sit at home with our dogs and eat rather than go out on New Years Eve. Too many people out for us! And SyFy is having a marathon of Twilight Zones (they do this every New Years) and I watch all 48 hours!! LOL I know them all by heart and still enjoy each and every one. Very dreary and cold day here. I want all of you who are venturing out to please be safe and on the alert for stupid drivers this evening. And have some fun!! Hugs!!!!!!!

  1. Happy New Year Judi!!!!! Your plan to hang out with the DH and the fur kids sounds wonderful!!! And 48 hours of Twilight Zones is a great way to celebrate the new year!!!!! We're headed to a neighbor's house (2 door walk) with our 4-legged boy to enjoy some pizza and will likely be asleep before 11 p.m.! :) Have a wonderful night!!!!!

  2. Very pretty card. The accents in the corners are great!

  3. Great quote! I'm going to second Betty and say that I love the corner accents too! Somehow our TV got switched to the Honeymooners after midnight - another classic!
