CAS75 Challenge 7/12

CAS75 Challenge

Today we were to use dry embossing. I used the SU Sizzix EB Folder on Core`dinations CS. I heavily sanded to shab it up. Added the sentiment from SU Whimsical Words. Added oval pearls. Thanks Peggy!! Added Basic Grey DP inside and used a MS Border punch. And added a K & Co. sticker to the envelope. Thanks for looking and have a fabulous day!

Did a 2nd card for today`s CAS challenge to use Designer Paper. I just love yellow cards...hope you are not getting tired of them. Been so dismal here I need some sunshine! But it is actually finally sunny here today. I love this SU DP. It is so soft and feminine. I used a Sizzix die for the flower, put gold pearls in the center, and popped it up. The butterfly is a MS punch. I used a deckle edge blade and carried the dp through to the inside of the card. Hope you like it!
Thank you to all who have sent messages and posted about my husband`s injury. The swelling is pretty bad this morning. We have called the doctor but have still not heard back.

Hi! My husband is sleeping comfortably after I gave him his pain meds. I love staying up late so decided to do at least 1 card tonight although he is not a very demanding man even when sick so will probably do more tomorrow. :-) He is a keeper for sure! So todays CAS challenge was to use designer paper. I punched out the dp and adhered it to inchie squares so there would be dimension. Also used dp on the envelope. The base is a shimmer pink. Thought these made quick and cute Valentines! Let me know what you think! Talk to you tomorrow!! Hugs and sleep well!
