Inspiration Challenge Card! 12/11/10

Hi! This is for today`s Inspiration Challenge where Steph has sent us to a great online store called Shabby Apple .  This is the dress I was inspired by.Needed to take a break from Christmas cards! Such a busy time of the year and I have not been feeling well so went with a quick CAS card. All supplies are from PTI other than the Dotted Black CS from Bazzill and the Corner Chomper. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

I sketched the piece lightly on watercolor paper and used my Peerless Watercolors. Then I went back and added white dots with a Signo pen. Thanks for the great tip Karen! I then used SU Embosslit Butterfly dies and added pearls. The extra ferns are stamped in using HA stamps and Dusty Durango Ink. Thanks for taking a peek and have a fabulous Saturday. I could not sleep so thought why not do a card. Looks like we may be snowed in for a bit! May be back tomorrow after some sleep with another one. I liked this site!

Hi! Today Steph has sent us to be inspired by the great artist Erté. Our Peggy made the suggestion as she received a card from her niece Aja featuring a beautiful piece by Erté. I must say there were so many choices my card today is a composition inspired by the entire site and was not limited to one specific piece. My card is pink shimmer and the black accent piece is glittered cs. I have always loved the set of stamps I used today from Pam Bell. My image is stamped on glossy white and popped up. Hi All! This is the card I did for today`s Inspiration challenge. Steph sent us to Espe ~ http://www.espe.ca/product/products_main.html an online store primarily carrying bags and accessories. There was a wallet with a cute monkey on it that inspired me to ink up this new Verve set called Monkey Love. The outside says my little love monkey and the inside says you`ve stolen my heart I used these cute little Love Notes from SU. They are the perfect size to sneak into my husband`s wallet or our gd`s lunchbox. I love to give surprise notes like this!

My 2nd project was inspired by a white bag with pink roses. I made up this bag and adhered my paper roses and just added a ribbon. Thought jelly beans would look cute in these little bags as a treat for Easter.
It had started snowing again...seems it can`t make up its mind! Will more than likely be awhile before the plows make it to this end of the county. Thank goodness we do not need to be on the road for anything! May be back later tonight! I love staying up to see who the Featured Stamper is...just may stay up and do them a card! Hugs!!
