Innovative Stamp Creations!! Stamp Release!! Day 4!! 10/24/10

Sunday 10/24/10

Day 4:

Are you ready Christmas?

The talented Creative Architects’ were given a different ISC Christmas line to create a card! Have you started Christmas shopping yet? How many handmade Christmas cards have you created? Do you buy store bought Christmas cards instead?
Hope my New Year`s card will inspire you today!

My card is CAS. I embossed half of a white cs panel and popped it up. Used a MS Corner Punch on one corner. Stamped the beautiful tree trio and sponged in some bg color and added ultrafine glitter for a bit of snow. Added the Happy New Year sentiment and Basic Grey DP to the inside. Easy peasy! I think it is nice to receive New Year`s cards after the hustle and bustle of the holiday`s!! Hope you like my idea and have a fabulous day!

Innovative Stamp Creations Release!! Saturday 10/23/10 Fall in New England!!

Saturday 10/23/10

Day 3:

As many of you know Betsy, owner of ISC, resides in New England and the inspiration for this Line was from her back yard! She says; “Fall in New England is truly gorgeous, especially further north of Manchester, New Hampshire. “
Thought this image on this fabriano notecard would be perfect for any man. Added a bit of gingham ribbon but that was truly the only embellishment other than the cute owl charm in the tree. Image stamped on Basic Grey DP and colored with Copic Markers. Added the word friend included in the release.
I used black textured cs for my base and gold for the accent panel and punched out dots. Once again I used Basic Grey DP and colored and shaded with Copic Markers and Distress Inks. The leaf was colored and cut out and is from yesterday`s Foliage release. Did some distressing and added the dewdrops. Hope you enjoyed today`s samples. Please come back tomorrow for more!

Please be sure to visit our Talented group of Creative Architects’ and become
                     inspired!

Have a wonderful weekend!! Hi Sis!!!!!!!!!!!!

Innovative Stamp Creations Release!! NEW!! Foliage 10/22/10

Friday 10/22/10

Day 2:

Do you agree, leaves are truly mesmerizing and breathtaking?! Take a look at the Inspirational image I used to create my design! Consider using earth-tone colors on this beautiful realistic image!

I stamped this beautiful image in Versamark and embossed with Judikins Rustique Tin Can EP. I then colored with Copic Markers and sponged in some bg color. Matted it and put it on an embossed card base. The thanks image is on the inside of the card. I added the twine and pumpkin charm.
This time I went very CAS. I started with a white base and popped up a white panel. I stamped the leaves and colored with Copic Markers and Distress Inks then cut them out. Stamped the word Journey and cut it out
and adhered. Basic Grey DP is on the inside of my card. I hope you enjoyed my samples today!

I chose to do Emboss Resist with this image. I stamped in Versamark on glossy CS and used Clear Detail EP. I then sponged in my colors using sponges and Distress Inks. Innovative Stamp Creations! Release Day 4! Vintage Artist Box! 9/26

Sun 9/26

Release Day 4

What inspires you?

Ever wonder why it is you stamp? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments section! For doing so, your name may be chosen and you might win a FREE Vintage Artist box sheet, compliments of ISC! A winner will be chosen on Fri 10/1 and will be posted on the ISC blog. Now back to what inspires you?! What motivates you when you stamp? Who inspires you? What are your fave images to create with?
Remember to let me know your thoughts in the comments section!

Think of the Vintage Artist Box line as your Art-Mural! Once your piece is finished you can showcase it somewhere in your Studio or Art area! Consider the following themes when working on your Art Mural: butterflies, eclectic, faces of women, travel, flowers, vintage and many more.
This project turned out to be so much fun! I again used Tim Holtz Grungeboard. I stamped the Artist Box stamp and sandwiched dp in between using another solid layer of grungeboard on the back. I cut out random sections with a craft knife and the board cuts like butter! There are so many possibilities using this set!! Give it a try! Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Innovative Stamp Creations! Release Day 3! Nesting! 9/25

Sat 9/25

Release Day 3

This line is simply exquisite, these images are ideal for those special occasions such as a new neighbor, a friend who is moving, to a new baby and how about a friend in need! Nowadays many of the stamps on this line are quite trendy and versatile, that you are able to create a very simple card to even an altered art item!
I did a CAS card pairing the Est.2010 and Welcome stamp with the eggs. How cute is that? The card is also scored but hard to see in the photo. Inside is Basic Grey DP.
On this fun tag I used the birdhouse, nest, sunflower, and butterfly stamp using Tim Holtz Grungeboard and cutting my pieces out. I colored with markers and prismacolor pencils. I hope you like it! Thanks for looking and have a great day! Please be sure to check out the links below to be inspired!

Innovative Stamp Creations 9/24 Release Day 2 ~ Let it Flourish!

Fri 9/24

Release Day 2

Let It Flourish!

Background Series: Flourish

Do you enjoy background stamps? Don’t they add such depth to your card? What’s unique about the variety of background series by ISC is that many come with a few sayings! The background Flourish sheet has a lovely Tag/Label that is ideal for that final touch on your project!

I chose to use this fun stamp on its own rather than as a background. Just sponged some wild and happy colors on using Distress Inks.Stamped the word smile on my tag, pinned it on with a Tim Holtz safety pin, and added a flower and a strip of ruffled ribbon as a bottom border. Used cs on the inside and punched one corner with a MS Corner Punch and stamped the flourish on my envelope. Hope you like it!

Innovative Stamp Creations! Release Day 1! Edges 9/23

Thurs 9/23

Release Day 1

A touch of Dimension!

Dimensional Elements: Edges

The images on this line are truly unique they will accent your card or altered notebook and so much more! Think of these stamps as a diecut or punch! You can create a quick card to more elaborate creations! GO with the flow and have fun! Some of the images on this line: scallop, distressed paper, vintage script, triangle, zig-zag edge and a small label.

I used Distress Inks on this easy card using all the elements in this stamp set except the scallop border. Difficult to see in the pic but used twine for my dream banner ~ These are so popular right now!

My second card uses the script background stamp overstamped with the hollyhocks stamp from Innovative Stamp Creation `s  last release. I added a bit of bling using Diamond Glaze and Glass Shards and added some vintage lace trim.
Please be sure to check out the other Creative Architect`s projects to get you inspired!

Triple Challenge Card!! 8/29

Hi! This is a triple challenge card! First it is for our Featured Stamper this week...BobbiesGirl aka Carol! Thanks Susan for filling in this week! YAY! If you are not familiar with her work you have a fabulous gallery awiting you!! She is so very talented. She does vintage images...sometimes shabby sometimes funky! I love your work Carol! Congrats to you and your week! Read about it here. FS186 Challenge

I based my card loosely on this one. Carol`s Card
She used a bg nesties label for her lonely button...I used cardboard to give my roses a rustic look. And I used three rather than one. I hope I have captured some of Carol in this card. The second challenge is today`s Technique Challenge brought to us by Joan! This was a fabulous idea!! I will definitely be using cardboard again!! You can use it in so many ways!! Look at Joan`s sample cards for 3 very different cards using it! Read about it here. TLC288 Challenge  And the last challenge is today`s CAS Challenge ~ To be inspired by the word delicious. Well I use this word for not only food items but things that are beautiful or just make you feel good! And roses sure do that for me!! Read about it here. CAS82
These great roses are from Innovative Stamp Creations
Check out this month`s release! Fabulous!
Thanks so much for looking and have a great day!! And can I just say a huge thank you to all who had anything to do or participated in VSN!! We had a wonderful time and what creative cards!! You still have until 10:00 PM EST to get those cards in!

Innovative Stamp Creations! 8/26

Thursday 8/26
Last day of the New Stamp Line release from Innovative Stamp Creations . The Creative Architect`s are showcasing 1 card from Sketch of Roses and 1 card from Nature Silhouettes III.

I combined the rose stamp with a rose eb folder panel and Tim Holtz Musical Score tape on the top. Added script from the Mini Ledger set, my sentiment punched out with added pearls, and then inked portions of the card with Distress Inks. I then spattered ink to give even a shabbier look. Added the funky metal charm and added Basic Grey DP to the inside.
This card was fun! I stamped the hollyhocks in Distress Ink, matted, and distressed adding Distress Stickles to the flowers after running the image through a Tim Holtz EB Folder. Stamped the large ledger on the tag and added the script stamp.Wrapped the tag with twine and added a leaf charm. The bg DP is from K & Co. Added 2 quilled dragonflies.
This stamp release is so versatile! Cannot think of an occasion these sets would not work for.

Wednesday 8/25

Mini Ledger
This line from Innovative Stamp Creations  is ideal for Artist Trading Cards, when you need a quick Mini-Card! Even accents the pages on a small Mini Book too! The tab image is super easy to use as you’ll see in the sample below you can use almost any of the phrases on the inside of the tab to accent your card, etc!
My favorite color on this day was pink and green although I must admit to changing colors with my mood. I found these colors to be fresh and happy. I hope you do too!

Innovative Stamp Creations Release Day 2!! 8/24 Background Series: Ledger/ Nature Silhouette III

Tuesday 8/24
Background Series: Ledger/Nature Silhouette III
Lately, have you noticed all the lovely Ledger design paper at your local stamp store? Well, now you can create a ton of lovely backgrounds on your cards and even in a mini book with this lovely Ledger image!
The Creative Architects from Innovative Stamp Creations were challenged to incorporate some of the images from both of these lines on our card. Moreover, Nature Silhouette III bodes well with Nature Silhouette I/II.
A little tip from Betsy: Use caution, but you can cut apart each of the images on the Hollyhock Shadow stamp and place them on your acrylic mount and arrange to your liking, then stamp away!

I enbossed the hollyhocks silhouette stamp in black detailed EP. Then sponged on my colors using Distress Inks. Put my sentiment on a Tim Holtz ticket and stapled it on. Added gingham ribbon and button. The butterfly has been stamped, cut out, colored with Copics and embossed in Clear EP. The large ledger stamp is used on the inside of my card. Thanks for looking and be sure to make sure you visit the Creative Architects' blogs for additional inspiration!

Innovative Stamp Creations

Ever find yourself in awe of butterflies? Take Flight is mesmerizing and was designed to give your card or project a 3D effect! We were encouraged by Betsy to use the wooden-frame from the ISC Fruitful sheet or create our own on the design below.

I did a recessed window frame card from the directions at SCS. I used Copic Markers to color and cut out some butterflies twice and popped them up and added pearls to their bodies. The enjoy sentiment is included with this set.

ISC - June Release Day 3:

Wonders of Nature, are there times when find yourself in need of a manly card? This line truly is perfect for that occasion! The image is simply breathtaking and ideal for those who enjoy coloring with Copic markers or watercolor pens! I used Copics today, matted, and distressed and roughed up my cs and added some hemp twine. I think the card is gender friendly and would be great for either.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you like it and that you have a fabulous Saturday! Stop back by tomorrow when we will have one more set for you!

I also entered this in today`s Inspiration Challenge brought to us by Stephanie. Read about it here.
We went to an online site called The Bicycle Muse and this bag is what inspired me to add this card. I had made this card for today`s ISC release but don`t you love when it works for more than one thing? To me the bag and the image both say summer and many people ride bikes down to the water (there must be a trail! ;-0) And inside the bag is good things to eat and she will have a picnic! Thanks for looking and have a fabulous day!!

Innovative Stamp Creations

Are you ready? Do you love realistic nature images? Well, the next 4 days will surely jump start your creative juices! The Creative Architects were challenged to create unique card folds with these new lines! Enjoy… I opted for an altered art piece for my 1st project as they are so popular right now.

This is a typical shadowbox frame you can pick up at most any craft store. I had this one in my stash just begging to be altered! I stamped Spanish Script from Favorite Flowers (which you will be seeing tomorrow) on Basic Grey dp and distressed the edges. The 2 flowers are also in that set and the butterflies are from Beautiful Flowers II and Beautiful Flowers III I used dp again and used the Script stamp again as my bg and then embossed my Butterflies from Set II and III. Everything is popped up on dimensionals. My circle sentiment is from Beautiful Flowers II and says you make me laugh Added some dew drops and a bit of glitter.
.

This card measure 8.5 " by 4 ". I went with a more Clean and Simple look to this card for those of you who enjoy this style. I took a panel of white cs and added smudges of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and Dried Marigold Distress Inks. I crumpled it up and added a bit more. I then spritzed with water. I let it completely dry and then distressed the edges and ironed it. I used the gorgeous butterflies from Beautiful Butterflies II and III and stamped them with Memento Ink and added a black rhinestone to their body. I then used Diamond Glaze and added Ultra Fine Prisma Glitter so IRL this card is very sparkly. The sentiment stamp is included in this set along with one which says you`ve been in my thoughts. It also includes a larger butterfly. Added a white panel on the inside and added a corner punch.
I hope you like my use of these fabulous sets which you will be able to find at Innovative Stamp Creations
Here are 2 sites that you could make cards from.
