Hi my peeps! I just had to crawl to the computer to tell you I may be missing in action for a little bit....I am so sick I do not know what hit me. I have a fever,chills,aches,headache,and nausea. I could go on but won`t! My sweet dogs know something is wrong and layed on my lap all afternoon. So get creative without me for a little bit. I look forward to blurfing and checking challenges at SCS when I can hold my head up.

I started out with a 6x6 base of Bazzill Textured CS. My next layer is Sweet Pea DP from SU. I used a MS Loop Corner Punch on one corner. I then used Pink Crocheted Lace from Maya Roads. Then I used a Circle Nestie and cut out SU DP. Then I added SU White Trim. Then used a Square Nestie for my sentiment from Verve and sponged it and popped it up. It reads ~ Wherever you go, no matter the weather, always bring your own sunshine. Anthony J. D`Angelo I added tiny gold gems, a pink rose, and a Paper Pretties Stick Pin from SU.
On the inside I punched two corners with a MS Corner Punch on Sweet Pea DP from SU. I then punched out a bird and branch from SU. I used the Word Window punch from SU for the just because sentiment from Verve. Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!

The Technique Challenge today is Inside out...to do the inside of the card which I always do something to. I started out with a white square base. Then ran 3/4 of a piece of white cs through the swiss dots eb folder. Then I used some PTI dp at the bottom. I stamped my flowers on twinchies and sponged around them with the new Hawaian Shores Ink from PTI. Added buttons to the center. Added PTI ribbon and buttons on it in the same color all from PTI. Stamped my sentiment on the dp. My inside has the same dp and I used an EK Success Corner Punch on one corner. I stamped the Friends stamp and added rhinestones. I also decorated my envelope. I love this new color from PTI. Thanks for looking and have a great day! I am up at 4 and have not slept yet. I may need a nap today! LOL

The technique challenge was an easy one for me today. It was called inside out. We were to finish the inside of our card. I always do this and usually have a matching envelope as well. Its just a thing I have!Read about it here.

 These cute chicks and all the stamps on this card are from Taylored Expressions. I stamped the chicks on inchies, sponged around then in a pink to match the card and colored with Copic Markers and popped them up. The sentiment says You`re one of my favorite peeps! The inside is stamped with 3 flowers just like the envelope. Wanted to keep it light and airy. Thanks for looking and have a great day! It is 3:30 here and I can`t sleep so might as well stamp. :-)

Hi! Todays featured stamper is Beedubya (Brandi). I was unfamiliar with her work so it was fun going through her gallery. Congrats Brandi! I chose to case a scrapbook layout found here.
Brandi`s LOMine is a redo of a favorite picture of one of our sons. I thought my 2 page layout kept the same feeling using a black and white picture.

This weeks honor goes to Pat Smethers and deservedly so! She is a sweetheart and talented! I can`t think of a better combo. Congrats and hugs Pat!! This is the card I got my inspiration from.

I changed mine to flowers. Just embossed the side and envelope. I used the Zutter Chomper on my main image panel. The daisies inside and out, butterfly, and sentiment come from Innovative Stamp Creations found here.

I went back and painted over the daisies with Smooch. It is difficult to capture this in a photo. This is a pearlized paint that shimmers. Used Espresso Liquid Pearls for the flower centers. Added little gems for the dots over the i`s and in the corners. Added a ribbon and Prima flowers. Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!

Hi! Today`s Inspiration Challenge was to go to Thymes.com, a fabulous fragrance company. Thanks Steph! I was immediately drawn to the lavender.

My Inspiration


I got out my European Watercolor Paper and Peerless Watercolors and AquaBrush. I painted this little scene and matted it with paper from Kioshi from Basic Grey. I then popped it up and placed on Bazzill textured paper. I really had to sit on my hands to not add a thing. I truly wanted the focus to be on my painting. I almost did not upload this as I am not an artist but I do love to dabble in watercolors. Thanks for looking and if you have time please let me know what you think! Have a beautiful day!
